In 1978 our founder, John Hardy, purchased his first van and started making deliveries for Medi Physics, now knows as GE Healthcare/Amersham Health. John’s track record for fast and dependable service enabled him establish Del-Med, which, successfully delivered time-sensitive and heavily-regulated radio pharmaceuticals to hospitals and pharmacies throughout the mid-Atlantic region.

During this time, we became experts at navigating the complexities of federal, state and local requirements that govern the transport of regulated materials. And over the past 10 years, we have successfully transferred our culture of speed and reliability from radio pharmaceutical deliveries to general freight.

As our company and reputation grew, a wide variety of clients learned they could count on us for all kinds of delivery services and logistical support. We were no longer delivering just medical products, so in 2007, we changed our name from Del Med to Hardy Express.

But with all our success, we haven’t forgotten what got us where we are: we still offer premium services at affordable prices. No matter what we’re carrying, we always
